And this time . . . IT’S A GIRL!! Join us in celebrating the arrival of our good friend and brilliant tattoo artist Susan Kidder.

Sue studied fine art at the University of Arizona and has been tattooing for ten years. After getting her start here in San Diego, Sue worked at Baker Street Tattoo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before moving back home to San Diego.

Susan is making the move over to Flying Panther Tattoo from our good pals at the one-and-only Flesh Skin Grafix Tattoo Parlor in Imperial Beach.

The Gypsy Gentleman Comes to San Diego

Our friend Marcus Kuhn, aka the Gypsy Gentleman, paid a visit to San Diego this year and sat down with Flying Panther Tattoo’s Rob Benavides. Documenting their trip to Puerta Blanca, one of Tijuana’s oldest cemeteries, and to San Diego’s Chicano Park, the Gypsy Gentleman episode #4 follows Marcus and Rob as they explore the impact of Chicano art and culture in the contemporary world of tattooing.

The Gypsy Gentleman is a tattoo documentary film series chronicling the travels of tattoo artist Marcus Kuhn as he discovers the world’s most enchanting places and the best tattoo artists who work there.
